Nortel Wins $150M T-Mobile Deal

It’s a good week for Nortel’s wireless salesforce. Hot on the heels of a $135-million contract with Cricket Communications, Nortel has won a $150-million multi-year extension with T-Mobile USA for mobile voice and data services.

Alcatel-Lucent Gets Cricket Love Too

Cricket Communications is clearly spreading the wireless love around. In addition to awarding contracts to Nortel ($135-million) and Huawei (undisclosed), the company also gave Alcatel-Lucent a $126-million contract to supply it with CDMA200 and EV-DO Rev A equipment.
