Anti-climactic is Nortel's middle name, so when I read that Iraq's Chemical Ali was excecuted and another few bombs were lobbed, I couldn't help but think, yeah, “This Is The Way”. Business as usual for the select few remaining.

Ha, I can imagine… The reason no one asks them questions, is because they never answer them. All they choose to do, is spin the incredibly stupid and empty lines issued by the bureaucrats of corp HR and “communications” types. Remember Avakian & co, lol!! His spin about the approach of Ch 11 when it first came up (the Wall St Journal story) proved to be just more lies, which were faithfully and forcefully spouted by management in GIS's and the like.

I, too, have already heard of Old School tactics still being practiced in places.

Whats the saying – those who do not know or remember history are doomed to repeat it – which is why AAN needs to keep a detailed record of Nortel's final decade of corperate fraud, malfeasance and debauchery.
Also, those who witness any resurgence of the Good Old Way need to speak out against it.

I am an ex UK employee. I chose to leave the business at the end of 4Q 08. Despite assuring me that they would pay SIP earned during that qtr, I became a prefered creditor. I received notification from the UK administrators (E&Y) that my credit payment would be $893 instead of the amount earned during that qtr. The payment has not yet arrived, but when it does, I will see a net amount of sweet F.A once I have paid Tax / NI etc, etc.

I juts hope GB or whoever wins CVAS kicks all the Nortel brass out the door. The company is in the pits and we have execs forcing employees to come up with questions for their GISs, its become like a prison camp.
