Nokia Not Interested in Other Nortel Assets

Nokia Siemens said it’s not interested in other Nortel assets aside from the CDMA wireless business and LTE R&D unit that it wants to buy for $650-million, according to Nokia Siemens spokesperson.

Earlier this week, Sue Spradley, Nokia Siemens’ North American president, said the company could be interested in other Nortel businesses.

Using all the available M&A cash to buy CDMA/LTE? Perhaps if MP had not forced themt o raise the ante they would have gone for the other assets too.

    It’s a shame.
I always believed that Enterprise was a good business unit and under new leadership, still has potential as an innovative, flexible business.

Don't mix it up. NSN is a pure carrier company and they have for sure no glue how the GTM in Enterprise works. Look at NT when Carrier (or GE) guys try to run Enterprise … it was and is a disaster!!!!

But I also agree that with the right leadership Enterprise will have a future.
