From what i read Pauljam, Nothing.. just a bunch of mumbo jumbo. I don't even get the point. What is it? Bottom line is Nortel decided to do business in France, eh? Now is not the time to try to back track and give a bunch of reasons why it's not cost advantageous- you make a business decision, you play by the rules. Saying a company may be at a “cost disadvantage” has zero to do with breaking the law. At the end of the day, as you say my friend-”amazed and confused2002″, you shouldn't have opened your doors in France and complain about the labor laws now. If it waddles like a duck and quacks like a duck, guess what? It's a duck!
