Moody’s Downgrades Debt Outlook
By Mark Evans | September 24, 2008
Not that this comes as a surprise but Moody’s Investors Services has reduced the outlook on Nortel’s debt to “negative” from “stable”.
Moody’s said the decision was made after Nortel said last week it would have lower-than-expected results, and planned to sell its metro Ethernet network business.
“The outlook revision reflects the potential that Nortel may not be able to overcome its challenges,” Moody’s said.
