Hope you see the light soon and find a better place to work. You are right, Nortel CTO is great in talking about technology, but if you look what is behind his words, you will find many product gaps that he can not address. The R&D budget he is trying to control is now far too small compared to the competition leaving Nortel with tough choices and less products. What surprises me is that the -world class Exec team- do not see the fact that they need to think small and focus and stop talking big when they can not do anything about it. Very funny “insider”. Heads that should roll (but won't) Larry Murat, Harold Graham, Doug Wolf, RIchard Lowe, Mike Z and the common platform team let by John Roese (pronounced Roth). Fire them all! What a joke.
