Hey Mark and everyone else!

Thanks for the reference. Ex-Nortel, I doubt you'd want Carlo and I developing new products. We're both technophiles and passionate about HyperConnectivity but rather independent from the Nortel product stream.

Cheers
Alex

It would be much better for share holders and customers if Nortel's employees were busy developing and releasing new products instead of rolling out new blogs. I guess if the remaining North American employees look 'hyper-active' , they might get to keep their jobs a little bit longer.

It is a sad but true fact that the 'Hyperconnectivity revolution' exists only in the minds of the few, the desperate, and the disconnected at Nortel. It has no relevance or validity to the internetworking marketplace. I wonder if Nortel will attempt to explain its lackluster Q1 with a pithy blog. Maybe they can call it 'Negative Cash Flow'.

Ian, you're expecting a return on your investment in NT after a month or two? Get real. This is a loooong play.

And back on topic. Sure they own the hyperconnectivity domain name. Might as well do something useful with it.

Question:

In 1999 / 2000 when Nortel was $100 - $120 per share (pre 1 for 10) did Nortel pay a dividend ?

Was it greater than $0.70 (x 10 would be equivalent to $7.00 today)

super-conductivity
super-bowl
super-nova
super-gravity
super-symmetry
super-strings
super-luminal
super-sonic

and Nortel goes with "hyper-connectivity". It is enough to give me "hyper-tension" and get me annoyed at my "hyper-active" kid. Must be all those hyper-glycemic executives munching on Timbits at meetings.

One of the best alternative (and Canadian bands) in the world, Broken Social Scene, has a song "Superconnected".
