It's time to break this company up, it makes no sense to have both enterprise and carrier products in the same company. Carrier and Enterprise solutions need to stand on their own 2 feet, and have the market decide whether or not they will survive. Carrier and Enterprise subsidize each other when Enterprise sells is up and Carrier's is down, and vice-versa. It's time for Nortel to focus either on Enterprise or Carrier products, it's make sense to split these products into their own companies or sell one or the other off to another company. It's time for Nortel to focus on it's core competencies and stop being everything to everyone.

Nortelhand,<br>with 60% institution holdings, if it does die like you said, it will probably pop up to 30+ for them to get out.

Wake up everybody...do you not see a trend here? As soon as the share price starts to go down, analysts lower their rating and target price. As soon as the price goes up, analysts raise their ratings and target prices. Trust me...pay no attention to these people.

I hate to say it, but as time goes on I become even more convinced that Nortel as a company is in a death spiral. Top management continues to go, earnings continue to suck, the market continues to broadcast that Nortel is not going to survive as a major competitor, etc…. There is never any good news to move the share price of this company up. The way this is playing out is looking very bad.
