I'm sure "the lists" are being drawn up now. A couple of years after the 2001 bloodletting I spoke to a manager who participated in the original meetings deciding who was to be culled and who was to be kept. He said it was completely cynical, since every manager present knew their name was on a similar cull/no-cull list for directors on up. Everyone and her brother knows where the economy is heading for the next couple of years.
