Juniper Sees Lots of Room for Growth

If you’re looking for insight into where the telecom equipment market may be headed, check out this interview with Juniper Networks CEO Scott Kriens, who believes there will be a deluge of Web traffic as more people use it for video, data, entertainment and communications.

He believes that Juniper will be able to compete against Cisco by focusing on selling equipment to move Internet traffic while Cisco turns its attention to new opportunities such as video.

    The managers at NT are too busy enjoying their big pay checks while there still is a company, the way things are going that will not be much longer. Can anyone say “Sold for scrap value”?

    Everyone and her brother knows where the economy is heading for the next couple of years.

    I’m sure “the lists” are being drawn up now.

    A couple of years after the 2001 bloodletting I spoke to a manager who participated in the original meetings deciding who was to be culled and who was to be kept.

    He said it was completely cynical, since every manager present knew their name was on a similar cull/no-cull list for directors on up.
