Saturday, July 14th, 2007After complying with the terms of a plea agreement, Nortel VP Joel Hackney had assault charges dismissed earlier this week.
Hackney was charged after he allegedly grabbed the face of a woman, Alicia Ogden, after she cut off his Audi SUV in a parking lot while leaving a college basketball game last October.

Alcatel-Lucent Gets Cricket Love Too
Wednesday, July 11th, 2007Cricket Communications is clearly spreading the wireless love around.
In addition to awarding contracts to Nortel ($135-million) and Huawei (undisclosed), the company also gave Alcatel-Lucent a $126-million contract to supply it with CDMA200 and EV-DO Rev A equipment.
