Chandran Joins WebTech Board

Clarence Chandran, who was once viewed as John Roth’s successor as Nortel CEO until he was stabbed during a break-in in Singapore, has joined the board of directors of WebTech Wireless Inc., which provides located-based and fleet telematics services. It’s an interesting choice given Vancouver-based WebTech has been beset by problems recently, highlighted by a lawsuit against it for patent infringement and the apparent loss of its largest contract.
