Frank Dunn: It’s So Unfair

You have to feel for ex-Nortel CEO Frank Dunn. He lost his dream job amid an accounting scandal, and now has to contend with three lawsuits against him by the Securities & Exchange Commission, the Ontario Securities Commission and Nortel. “Three proceedings related to one thing, that’s not fair,” Dunn’s lawyer Thomas Heintzman told Bloomberg after a 10-minute OSC hearing in Toronto, which was held to decide – among other things – to decide on a date to set another date for a hearing.

Yes I feel so bad for him, because unlike other criminals he will never see the inside of a jail cell, oh dear he has to have his team of highly paid lawyers manage his case while he continues to enjoy the millions of dollars, yes so sorry for him

Are you sure he will not see the inside of a jail?

After all, Canada has extradition agreements with the United States.

I wonder if they will put him up in the same cell as Martha Stewart spent her time?

There’s no statute of limitations on ethics, honesty, and morality.

  • Dunn Wrong

I really take pause at the sympathetic tone you strike for someone so devoid of business ethics. Dunn’s greed led the company to near ruin, into a fetid sewer from which it has yet to emerge. The SEC has carefully investigated him, Gollogly, Beatty and Pahapill for years and has a very strong case. Its Complaint is air tight. I suggest you read it sometime befre getting out a hanky for Frank I also still think they will be charged criminally.

The post was written with tongue firmly in cheek so my bad if it didn’t come across that way.
