Nortel Goes After European SMBs

Armed with a snazzy marketing log - “Grow your Business. Think Small”, Nortel is courting re-sellers in Europe to pursue the tantalizing but hard-to-reach SMB market. According to The Register, Nortel is offering “generous rewards” to recruits, and conducting a roadshow that will hit the U.K., Ireland, Germany, France and Spain before hitting the rest of the Europe/Middle East market. Nortel’s Amanda Giddins told The Register that Nortel is “working with our committed resellers to increase their revenue and profit streams enabling them to offer new IP applications, convergence and secure mobile offerings with the knowledge they are fully supported by a market leading provider.” Now, that’s courting!
