    Nortel Settles Class-action Lawsuits

    After reaching agreements to settle two Canadian lawsuits, Nortel has completed the settlement of two major class-action lawsuits in the U.S. for $2.47-billion. The deal includes $575-million in cash and 14.5% of Nortel’s common shares.
