Monday, May 8th, 2006For all the talk about Wi-Fi in North America (Google in San Francisco, Toronto Hydro in Toronto) Nortel is working with Golden Telecom, a Russian ISP, to build a large Wi-Fi mesh network in Moscow that will provide Internet access to 3.9 million housholds using 5,000 Nortel access points. Tests are expected to start this summer.

Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006More than a year after Nortel sued Frank Dunn, Frank Dunn has sued Nortel for wrongful dismissal, mental stress and defamation. The details were disclosed in the 10-K.
