It gives Dion Joannou, president of the Nortel’s North American operations, a golden opportunity to present the company’s direction but fails, for the most part, to address any of the company’s strategic, technology or competitive challenges. Iain Grant, managing director with Seaboard Group, does make a good point that the products Nortel sells will always in “in flux – an understatement, if I’ve heard one.
